Yoga, personal training, and tai chi for Barry start every day now on sea days, except when I have spinning class. I am starting to see some changes in my strength and that encourages me greatly, although when I am sweating through lunges and weights I am not feeling encouraged.
We attended Aileen Bridgewater's last lecture on Hong Kong. We have truly enjoyed this woman's talks. She and her husband Ken, know live in the New Territory just outside of Hong Kong city proper and she decided to do a slide presentation to show us the city behind the scenes. She took us to their home, and their little village which is 200 years old, and showed us lots of interesting places and as always told us stories of her interesting life. I think we will take her up on one recommendation which is to go to the bar at the top of the Ritz Hotel to drink in the views of the city… she promised it was worth it. Failing that we will do the same thing at the top of the Peninsula Hotel. Hong Kong needs to be seen from the street and from above.
It is hot and humid on the ship today, but with the pool roof partly open, the sun shining and a breeze, the Lido pool is a nice place for me to get caught up on the blog. At 3 pm we are going to the Talent Show, where or fellow guests will perform. Last year we were surprised at the talent so we thought we would give it a twirl.
